Permanent position with flexibility to accommodate class schedules

Reports to Corporate Engineering Group Manager

Hybrid schedule available

Compensation commensurate to education and experience

Responsibilities

-Assist in the design and development of engineering projects

-Collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve technical challenges

-Utilize CATIA V5 and/or NX for creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings

-Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

-Assist in the design and development of foam-based products and applicable tooling

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives

-Participate in the prototyping of new product designs

-Operate and maintain FDM 3D rapid prototype equipment

-Document design processes develop specifications according to Best Practices/Lessons Learned

Qualifications

-Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering with at least a 3.0 GPA

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Effective communication and teamwork abilities

-Familiarity with engineering principles and their application

-Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks

-Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
