Responsible for the Operational direction, administration and coordination of all activities of the Revenue and Distribution department. Supervise assigned staff in accordance with the departmental table of organization and works with interdepartmental personnel and department management to ensure the operational effectiveness of the department. Monitors casino, hotel, direct marketing, and group and transient business to ensure measurable revenue improvements based on demand and availability for multiple hotel/casinos. Assists the Corporate Vice President of Revenue Management with the development and execution of strategic plans to maximize revenue in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Casino, and Hotel divisions.
Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, developing, and disciplining department management staff.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling labor within the department.
Works on special projects as assigned by the Corporate Vice President of Revenue Management.
Assists Corporate Vice President of Revenue Management with formulating the annual strategic plan and operating budgets for the operation; development and implementation of action plans to achieve established goals
Monitors department's financial reports, including monthly profit and loss statements, and take appropriate actions as necessary
Maintains projections on the effect future casino, direct marketing, group and transient business have on average rate and occupancy potentials, as well as room, gaming, food and beverage profit within the current multi-year forecast.
Supply critical analysis on the effect of short range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate, average daily gaming theoretical, average daily gaming actual, and rooms profit goals.
Review in detail output of recommendations from the Revenue Management System (Rainmaker) and update and maintain forecast, events and working parameters within Rainmaker.
Analyzes city events and activities, market conditions, changes in competitive environment, and other internal and external influences, and projects the effect of opportunities they create.
Coordinate with direct marketing effective programs to generate consistent demand. Coordinate with marketing and casino marketing the events calendar to ensure incremental gaming and hotel revenue is generated. Monitor competitive rates and positioning and perform analysis.

Works closely with internal sales teams to ensure optimized mix and average daily rate are achieved.
Work directly with online travel agents by meeting with market managers to improve position and fully optimize partner opportunities.
Professionally presents and chairs property strategy meetings, as needed.
Lead the ongoing operational improvements within the Revenue Management department, including processes, procedures, systems, and tools.
