The Senior Analyst is a key member of Ryan's Corporate Development team participating in all acquisition activities (pre and post-close). This individual will have significant visibility to executive management of the firm and play an integral role in due diligence activities.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team member experience.

  • Perform due diligence, prepare presentations on acquisition updates for senior management and the business unit management teams.

Client:

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses at the request of senior management

  • Support transaction negotiations and closings by assisting in the preparation of documents related to proposed transactions including due diligence findings, results and summaries.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to verify information through correspondence and telephone calls with key individuals in proposed transactions.

Value:

  • Provide analytical and financial modeling support, assist with valuation analysis.

  • Support due diligence initiatives

  • Conduct company and market research projects, competitive analysis, and other market intelligence reporting that aligns with Ryan's acquisition strategy.

  • Draft tailored reports outlining key transaction insights based on the diligence analyses.

  • Participation in overall analysis of proposed projects from financial and operational perspectives.

  • Analyze and evaluate strategic and financial information of potential targets.

  • Analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that may affect Ryan related to acquisitions.

  • Maintain and expand an acquisition pipeline and prospect database.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with three to five years audit or tax related experience preferred.

  • Strong financial modelling skills.

  • A solid understanding of the three financial statements and their interconnections

  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task

  • Ability to logically break down approach and assumptions

  • Ability to perform in a high-energy team environment

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.

  • Ability to successfully work in a virtual environment, demonstrating initiative and accountability without direct supervision.

  • Experience with managing projects and leading status meetings.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment and virtual.

  • Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.

  • Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.

  • Independent travel requirement: 5 to 10%.

Remote position

  • For Denver, CO-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is

$102,000 - $132,000.

  • For New York, NY-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is

$115,000-$145,000.

  • For Bellevue, WA- based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is

$107,000-$139,500.

  • For Carlsbad, Glendale, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Diego, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $107,000-$139,500.

  • For Oakland and San Jose, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,000-$145,000.
