We are seeking a transactional attorney to join our growing legal team. This position will report to the company's Assistant General Counsel at nCino's global headquarters in beautiful Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, draft, analyze and close a wide variety of commercial contracts including master SaaS agreements, statements of work/professional services agreements, partner/reseller agreements, product integration agreements, vendor/procurement agreements, non-disclosure agreements, amendments, etc. under the guidance of senior attorneys.

  • Provide legal advice and support for internal functions, particularly sales, but also professional services, human resources, marketing, finance, support and IT at all levels of the organization.

  • Support the continuous improvement of templates, alternate language playbook, and internal resource documents.

  • Train employees on legal issues, best practices and company policies.

  • Help build and strengthen communication and relationships between the legal department and other departments.

  • Complete special projects as requested.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Candidate must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar.

  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.

  • Expertise in contract law, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Hard-working, well-organized, seasoned and balanced business judgment, able to handle a great deal of responsibility without substantial supervision, and able to manage multiple competing priorities under deadline pressure.

  • Excellent customer service (internal and external), interpersonal skills and sense of humor.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters with a team-player attitude.

  • Excellent project management skills and commitment to professionalism.

Desired:

Familiarity with the software and financial services industries, Saas, trademarks, intellectual property, data privacy laws and regulations and SalesForce a plus.

Our Support Engineering department is a talented group of individuals who work closely together in case teams to support the successful adoption of nCino software at our financial institutions. As an Associate Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to assigned Financial Institutions who are leveraging the nCino Bank Operating System. You will be responsible for triaging any customer reported error messages, questions, and configuration enhancements. You will also be responsible for learning the nCino Bank Operating System, general banking knowledge, and becoming a certified Salesforce Administrator. Responsibilities * Communicate regularly with customers via multiple channels * Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the nCino Bank Operating System and configure our platform to nCino Gold Standards * Enable customers self-service capabilities through nCino Community * Prioritize, research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer reported error messages, questions, and configuration enhancements * Apply Knowledge Centered Service methodology to capture, structure, reuse and improve articles as part of case management process * Analyze customer business processes and determine solutions * Collaborate with groups across multiple departments when necessary Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred or combination of experience, education, and extraordinary performance * Demonstrated dedication to customer service, customer satisfaction, and quality technical case work * Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Desired: * Knowledge of Salesforce * SQL/SOQL or related Database Experience * Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Certified App Builder * Bachelor Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/ Information Technology or Related Field * Experience with the Salesforce Platform, particularly supporting managed packages.
