Your Role:
We are looking for a bright, energetic, highly collaborative attorney to join our Legal Department as Corporate Counsel. This role will primarily support the commercial function including sales and procurement.
This will be a highly interactive role that will report to the Associate General Counsel
Your Impact:
Based in Austin, Texas and reporting to the Associate General Counsel
Provide proactive counsel on a broad range of legal matters, particularly related to commercial transactions involving the company's software and cloud services.
Facilitate with and streamline communication between relevant affected areas within the company on a global basis including sales, finance, product, and information security.
Conduct initial review of and prepare proposed revisions/redlines to a wide variety of commercial and technology agreements, including a heavy volume of software license, subscription and SaaS agreements, confidentiality agreements, and partner related agreements.
Assist the procurement team in the review of vendor agreements that are escalated to legal.
Assist in developing training materials, and advise and educate sales teams and other internal stakeholders on legal processes and provide ongoing guidance and coordination throughout a contract lifecycle.
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to promote efficient workflows and handling of legal requests.
Provide substantive support to other members of the Legal Department as needed.
Perform other special assignments, strategic projects or duties as assigned.

Your Experience:
Admitted to and in good standing with the bar of a U.S. state.
3 to 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, in-house legal department for a software/technology company.
Adept at translating legal advice into actionable guidance.
Flexible, open-minded thinker with the desire to prioritize internal client needs.
Confident in suggesting sound decisions for implementation.
