Responsibilities

Responds to customer inquiries and increases interest and growth in company services and products.

Responds to, manages and resolves inbound customer inquiries and requests. Determines customer needs and provides immediate assistance or refers customers with specific inquiries. Completes outbound calls and builds customer interest in services and products offered by the company. Updates databases with customer/prospective customer status and changes. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and ExperienceCustomer service, marketing or sales experience is preferred with one to two years related experience and/or training. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university. Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be a self-starter who excels in organizational and time-management skills and can work without close supervision.

VIEW JOBS 9/24/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-12-23T00:00 As Corporate Security Specialist, you will monitor and review alerts and activity to determine the appropriate action to prevent fraud. Specialist will review Electronic incident reports (EIRs), account history, and other findings, to determine next steps to mitigate risk, exposure, and loss, and identity theft pursuant to the FACT Act, fraud, etc. Under minimal supervision, investigate simple to complex EIRs and related accounts/parties for SAR reportability, identity theft and potential case referrals while minimizing potential fraud risk. Based on review of the facts presented (information received after consultation with the reporting party, customer and available transaction/customer information) research, develop and complete required documentation, while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs). Action accounts and obtain supporting documentation as required (account closure, affidavits and police reports, recommend removal from credit reporting, etc.). Ensure cases are completed in accordance with departmental, regulatory and compliance standards. Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of departmental work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Review NICE RTA voice alerts * Add Fraudster voice prints to the system * Create Fraud Clusters * Maintain Watch List * Analyze customers account to determine if the activity is suspicious * Receive and Investigate referrals * Develop and complete case documentation within departmental, regulatory and compliance standards * Ensure departmental SLAs are met * Utilize the appropriate resources to analyze the issue and formulate sound conclusions with supporting documentation * Analyze information and review activity to determine suspicious activity report (SAR) reportability, documenting decision accordingly * Take appropriate actions based on case findings (account closure, affidavits, recommend removal from credit reporting, etc.) * Analyze cases for referral and refer cases to appropriate units/departments as needed * Perform root-cause analysis when Identity Theft is confirmed * Maintain a high level of confidentiality * Make decisions on suspected fraud and place appropriate holds/blocks to mitigate additional risk. * Ensure systemic issues are identified and escalated. * Other duties as assigned Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: * College degree or equivalent in experience * Fraud experience preferred * Thorough knowledge of bank applications/transaction processing preferred * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability to identify and escalate systemic issues and/or process breakdowns * Advanced computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access * Strong attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong critical thinking skills * Strong analytical skills * Must be able to work under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude * Basic understanding of 12 C.F.R § 21.11 * Basic understanding of FACT Act Physical Requirements: * Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with or without the ADA, FMLS and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. * Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. * Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone. #INDDD First Horizon Corp.
