Who we need:

Responsible for identifying appropriate creative interventions for stakeholders and their input into Kepro state Medicaid programs. Design, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of community campaigns and prepare detailed reports of projects and results. Communicates the organizations message to internal/external customers and promotes Kepros role in programs through outreach to state-based stakeholders.

What youll do:

  • Research interventions and gather information about contract-recommended interventions to determine effectiveness. Document results, feedback and lessons learned on each intervention.
  • Prepare and present information about Kepro to both state and national stakeholder organizations based on Kepro operational needs and contract requirements.
  • Develop relationships with key Medicaid and Medicare stakeholders to understand their unique needs and perspectives on Kepro solution areas.
  • Contribute to the Request for Proposal process by conducting research about the project in question and providing best practice recommendations for stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement stakeholder advisory councils as needed to obtain actionable feedback from stakeholders to improve Kepros program operations.
  • Work with operations on multiple projects and collaborate with project teams to plan stakeholder outreach to aid and assist Kepro operational teams. Document results, feedback and lessons learned from each intervention.
  • Represents Kepro at meetings with potential partners (e.g. Health Departments, medical societies) where potential interventions are discussed. Act as a liaison to participating agencies, provider groups and associations.
  • Collaborate in the development and monitoring of project plans, timelines and budgets related to stakeholder activity.

What youll need:

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Public Relations, Marketing or Public Health required
  • Understanding of government paid healthcare, Medicaid and Medicare
  • 3-5 years experience in stakeholder relations
  • Prior experience in public speaking required
  • Facilitation skills helpful

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be fluent in government paid health care terminology and familiar with communicating with stakeholders
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Travel to states where Kepro maintains contractual obligations is expected.
  • The ability to lead and or support team of virtual outreach specialists staffed on client engagements
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and graphic software skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects, especially cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals; attention to detail; ability to work independently
  • Ability to satisfy all required constituencies is essential
