POSITION SUMMARY:

Events Program Manager is responsible for the execution of strategic Corporate Citizenship event sponsorship in Massachusetts and the Executive Vice President event sponsorship programs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meets with non-profits to assess potential sponsorships for alignment with State Street's charitable giving strategy

  • Manages all aspects of the community event sponsorship program and Executive Vice President event sponsorship program logistics, including:

  • Review and track non-profit sponsorship requests, obtaining internal stakeholder feedback and responding as appropriate

  • Manage MA events budget, including tracking and processing of online applications and invoices

  • Manage event attendees, invites, and confirmations, and any speaking opportunities or other event engagements

  • Prepare event briefs for executives, as needed. Work with non-profits on State Street branding, logos, program ads and associated sponsor related communications

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vetting, documenting, tracking and reporting of the event sponsorship program, adhering to anti-corruption requirements from State Street Compliance and Ethics

  • Responsible for assisting with the planning of other large scale or strategic State Street community events

  • Support the Corporate Citizenship Communications Program as needed for employee and State Street Foundation giving programs

  • Support execution of Boston WINs events and convenings

  • BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Adept at events planning and budget management

  • Strong relationship management experience with all levels of management, including regular interaction with executives

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical and reporting skills; well-versed on MS Office applications

  • Ability to be flexible while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
