POSITION OVERVIEW
On behalf of the John Jay College Foundation, Inc., the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) secures sustainable philanthropy, builds transformational relationships, and advances powering partnerships in alignment with John Jay College of Criminal Justice's mission, vision, and values. Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations (DFCR), will inspire the Foundation and Corporate Relations team with visionary leadership, create a comprehensive program to secure transformational support for the College's top priorities, and develop strategy plan for a robust pipeline of donors and prospects. Our Foundation and Corporate Relations area represents the largest current funding source within the John Jay College Foundation, Inc., and, therefore, it is a significant opportunity forgrowth. Withcurrently two direct reports, the DFCR will lead, guide, and partner with the Associate Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations (ADFCR) and Grants Writer/Administrator to build philanthropic relationships and implement a strategic and tactical plan to successfully identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors/prospects and compellingly report on contributions. The DFCR willmanagea portfolio of local and national corporations, foundations, and government agencies that have the capacity, affinity, and inclination to support the College. Equally important, the DFCR will serve as a subject matter expert on foundation and corporate relations,implement national trends as appropriate, and regularly partner with campus departments/units to further cement a culture of philanthropy, ensure grants compliance, and accelerate the success of priorities and student learning communities through fiscal sustainability.
Specific responsibilitiesinclude:
Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and work in the office, and this position is based in New York, NY.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.

Manages professional and clerical staff
Performs related duties as assigned.
