Duties:
Plan and develop of a wide range of documents including annual department policy, department organizational structure, resource plan, and achievement schedule so that the annual and long-term Division goals and objectives for growth are achieved
Analyze section performance metrics achievement on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis versus target and provide necessary direction to Team Members so that the targets can be met or exceeded
Analyze Team Member performance to annual and long-term objectives and identify strengths and weaknesses so that a strategic Team Member development plan can be executed to improve deficiencies
Analyze, develop, and implement creative and innovative business systems and procedures so that the integrity and accuracy of data shared both inter- and intra-departmentally is trusted by Members
Take necessary risks and actions within legal and ethical limits to ensure achievement of Company profit targets
Collaborate with other Department Managers in the development of Company wide business improvement initiatives so that continuous improvement in Company metrics can be achieved
Lead product profitability initiatives to ensure strategic plans and long-term profitability targets can be achieved
Accept additional job assignments and/or perform some direct report job assignments as necessary to balance our fluctuation in section workloads or to develop additional knowledge and competencies in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, accounting, or finance, international studies, or related, as demonstrated by a credible academic advisory firm that provides educational equivalency evaluation services (including those established by a combination of academic achievements and work experience).
Minimum experience required: 5 years in the job offered or related.
Skills required: Experience with: MS Excel; MS Power Point Presentations; Analysis using database software for a manufacturer; Understand manufacturing blue prints; Read engineering specifications and designs; Understand balance sheets, cash flow statements, or income statements for a multinational company; Project management.
