Corporate And Cost Planning Unit Manager

Duties:

• Plan and develop of a wide range of documents including annual department policy, department organizational structure, resource plan, and achievement schedule so that the annual and long-term Division goals and objectives for growth are achieved

• Analyze section performance metrics achievement on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis versus target and provide necessary direction to Team Members so that the targets can be met or exceeded

• Analyze Team Member performance to annual and long-term objectives and identify strengths and weaknesses so that a strategic Team Member development plan can be executed to improve deficiencies

• Analyze, develop, and implement creative and innovative business systems and procedures so that the integrity and accuracy of data shared both inter- and intra-departmentally is trusted by Members

• Take necessary risks and actions within legal and ethical limits to ensure achievement of Company profit targets

• Collaborate with other Department Managers in the development of Company wide business improvement initiatives so that continuous improvement in Company metrics can be achieved

• Lead product profitability initiatives to ensure strategic plans and long-term profitability targets can be achieved

• Accept additional job assignments and/or perform some direct report job assignments as necessary to balance our fluctuation in section workloads or to develop additional knowledge and competencies in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, accounting, or finance, international studies, or related, as demonstrated by a credible academic advisory firm that provides educational equivalency evaluation services (including those established by a combination of academic achievements and work experience).

Minimum experience required: 5 years in the job offered or related.

Skills required: Experience with: MS Excel; MS Power Point Presentations; Analysis using database software for a manufacturer; Understand manufacturing blue prints; Read engineering specifications and designs; Understand balance sheets, cash flow statements, or income statements for a multinational company; Project management. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
