The Corporate Alliances Executive is responsible for building a robust portfolio of corporate donors to financially support the USO of North Carolina. Additionally, the Corporate Alliances Executive is responsible for cultivation, analysis, renewal and expansion of relationships with key partners in order to raise revenue and awareness in support of USO of NC programs and services. This position reports to the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and Development.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement long term and short-term strategies to secure gifts and sponsorships from corporations and in some cases, individuals and foundations to increase financial support for mission impact through our programs.
Proactively develop and lead the strategic process for identification, cultivation and solicitation of sponsorships and contributions from corporations.
Cultivate and steward a portfolio of corporate donors; focus on growth.
Manage a portfolio of assigned corporate partners. Lead and manage all development, growth, stewardship, support and renewal activities related to assigned key alliances and philanthropic partnerships, meeting and/or exceeding established annual goals.
Manage and oversee contract creation, execution, fulfillment and associated logistical support for assigned accounts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined, understood, and approved prior to execution and/or renewal.
Analyze and understand the business climate and overall operational health for assigned accounts. Identify, facilitate, leverage and optimize short- and long-term opportunities for continued revenue and in-kind support.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on promotional items, creative material, presentations, and marketing content across multiple channels (i.e. social, web, press, etc.) maintaining compliance with established policies and standards.
Identify new ways to engage corporations; workplace giving, sponsorship.
Manage the development of compelling donor proposals and presentations.
Participating in and/or leading sponsor presentations.
Effectively manage, deliver, measure and report on sponsor activations. Prepare sponsor stewardship reports, including partnership deliverables from key stakeholders.
Conduct face-to-face meetings and tours.
Develop new sponsorship opportunities across all USO programs and services in collaboration with appropriate staff
Maintain sponsorship database using Salesforce and producing monthly reports
Maintain and organize contact lists, actions, proposals, reports and other records in Salesforce
Represent the organization at scheduled sponsor events, trade shows and conferences as assigned.

Minimum 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in fundraising or business to business sales role.
Strong interpersonal and persuasive written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of assignments with varying complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with integrity and professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate interpret and fulfill contract terms and agreements.
Knowledge of various software programs including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities. Ability to quickly and easily adapt to changing organizational needs.
Must be a strong advocate of the USOs mission to support active duty military and their families.
Must be able to travel around state, work some weekends or evening hours for special events or networking opportunities.

A robust benefit plan is offered in addition to salary. Based on proven experience, salary will begin in the $50,000 - $55,000 range
