  • Work closely with the leadership teams of those areas in executing the communication plan to support business-specific needs in line with the overall business strategy

  • Implement internal communications plans, programs and tactics through appropriate channels; contribute to the development of the comms plan in collaboration with direct supervisor

  • Design, draft and produce a variety of communications and creative materials, including internal announcements, video scripts, executive talking points, newsletters, banners, signage, presentations, invitations and other related projectsall in a high-quality and timely manner

  • Draft and publish relevant content on the corporate intranet site; support internal social media campaigns by creating strong visual content

  • Help ensure communications materials effectively capture key messages, including the organization's business objectives, values, mission and priorities

  • Support execution of events such as Town Hall meetings, Kickoffs and other internal communications events such as scheduling of preparation meetings, event photographer, presentation support, A/V coordination, set up and take down

  • Work collaboratively with business unit/functional area and other communications staff in the completion of projects from initial concept to distribution / posting

  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines

  • Help ensure the consistency and quality of the WK brand style across all communications materials

  • Track metrics to ensure the usage and effectiveness of communications channels


  • A minimum of two years of internal communications and/or corporate communications experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong knowledge of communications software including Polite Mail, Easy Movie, Yammer, as well as web-based tools such as Canva and Powtoon

This role will help support Guy Carpenter's internal communication efforts and overall Marketing strategy. The role will collaborate with all levels within the organization to create, edit and distribute communications to the company globally. Key Responsibilities: * Writes, edits, and proofreads employee communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal distribution. * Regularly assesses and publishes content on communication vehicles (Intranet, newsletters, email, social media, etc.), to ensure on-time, accurate delivery and availability of fresh, updated content. * Create and manage emails in Marketing Cloud working with people throughout the business, both regionally and globally. * Manage the Guy Carpenter Intranet in terms of content creation, management and curating what will be most interesting to colleagues. * Contributes to the planning, delivery and measurement of internal communication plans to help support the execution of company strategies and increase employee engagement. * Coordinates distribution and tracking of communications to build appropriate audience profiles and lists and ensures timely delivery and follow-up. * Analyzes distribution metrics to measure communication effectiveness. * Provides recommendations to improve internal communications by tracking employee understanding and retention, and summarizing employee satisfaction surveys. * Helps with implementing high impact programs that raise brand awareness and help to build/maintain relationships with clients and industry influences. * Give advice and guidance on channels and approaches to business areas looking to communicate with colleagues.
