We're looking for a dynamic and talented Manager of Corporate Sales who will be responsible for building and leading a team of CAEs that identify, qualify and close sales opportunities in North America, specifically in the Mid-Market. The role focuses on leadership, development and the execution of Corporate Sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Attract, Hire and Retain high performing Corporate Account Executives via all channels available (internal, external, self)

  • Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed sales goals

  • Provide strong coaching and mentoring through a deep understanding of the inside sales role, our business model, and our sales methodology; This includes coaching on territory planning (including prospecting methods, development of CAE's pillars to success) all the way through deal support across each stage of the sales cycle

  • Support your direct reports by participating in client and prospect calls/meetings (including listening to calls to customize coaching to the CAEs as well as support deal development and closing through active participation to sales calls)

  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings with each CAE to inspect transactions in play and consolidate an accurate forecast; The forecast review is also the opportunity to provide coaching on deals (development and closing)

  • Provide timely and accurate forecast to senior management based on a deep understanding of deals in play but also based on overall business trends (# transactions in play, $ pipeline in play, Average Sales Price, Time to close, conversion ratios and historical trends)

  • Collaborate with Marketing and define sales strategies to build and develop pipeline based on the coverage needed

  • Develop and own Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the sales team, consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, track the results and drive team execution based on those metrics

  • Analytical mindset able to both identify gaps in the sales cycle but also gaps in the business plan

  • Define and execute on creative and innovative techniques to drive results

  • Represent the needs of your team cross functionally to drive performance

  • Ensure your team consistently leverages our sales methodology to qualify and manage opportunities as quickly, efficiently, and independently as possible

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MongoDB's offerings and the industry as a whole

  • Drive discipline and operational excellence in inside sales with the tools available to us, this includes data cleanliness in SFDC

  • Provide a high level of visibility and transparency to senior management

The Executive Global Account Manager drives and manages the overall account strategy and direction for a global/strategic account within Verizon. They are the Single Point of Contact and owns the business relationship ("C" suite level), and overall strategy with the client (organizational environment, including formal and informal power structures, motivations of key stakeholders and how decisions are made). The Executive Account Manager provides guidance and thought leadership to the client on how to solve business problems through integrated Verizon solutions. This role directly deploys and manages client executive/client partner/managing partner and sales associate resources to guide and execute funnel opportunities and the existing, run-rate business as well as strategic advanced solutions. The GAME will operate in a matrix structure and lead a team of deal experts, professional service consultants, solutions specialists, solutions architects and customer service consultants. Those resources could be dedicated or shared across multiple accounts. The Executive Account Manager will use the compelling assets of Verizon to identify, build and deploy complex, integrated solutions, including: * Hosting and distributed server environments * World class information assurance solutions * Global data and voice based WAN & LAN services * Wireless and mobility services * End-to-end communications and user experience service management * IP based communications and managed services * Out-tasking and outsourcing * Professional Services across all practice areas * Security Services * Digital Media Services What we're looking for... You'll need to have: * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. * Six or more years of relevant work experience. * Experience directly working at all levels in the client up to board level. * Proven track record of integrated solutions sales success. * Industry-specific experience. * Global / international experience in selling solutions / services to major multinationals. * Five or more years of People leadership/management experience. * Experience in achieving results in a complex, internationally distributed organizations. * Willingness to travel. * Valid Driver's License. Even better if you have: * Master's degree or MBA * Ten or more years of direct relevant experience, working at all levels in the client up to board level * Experience managing P&L. * C-level executive relationship creation and development experience. * People leadership capability. * Ability to operate in a matrix organization and manage a global team. * Global solutions development and delivery experience. * Large/very large/complete out-tasking and outsourcing deal leadership. * Major transformation efforts involving significant organization and technology change. * Organizational and process re-design and implementation experience. * Consultative solutions thought leadership with Fortune 500 accounts. * Experience with Sales force development, training and re-engineering for solutions-based selling. * Customer business case development based on TCO/ROI/ROCE techniques. * Direct sales and consortia/partnership based commercial relationships. * Ability to coordinate the activity of internal and external resources (TPV partners). * Demonstrated industry/segment experience and insight.
