The Corporate Account Executive will establish and maintain business relationships with major account customers. Provides shipping solutions to support customer's needs. Develop and execute account strategies and sales objectives.


  • Create and define value for customers by understanding their business model and specific needs. Establish long-term business relationships with major account customers.

  • Develop sales strategy to generate increased revenue from assigned corporate accounts. Monitor account performance to ensure revenue and yield goals are achieved, making changes to strategy as necessary.

  • Leverage and network with leadership and key field positions to increase knowledge of customer's business to enhance client relationships.

  • Work with customer representatives to provide the highest quality of service, meet customer expectations and jointly develop a strategy to address customer's changing transportation needs.

  • Identifies customer needs and provides reliable information and solutions to meet those needs. Remain abreast of competitive and pricing pressures and potential impact. Maintain open communication with customers to ensure they are receiving quality service at a competitive price.

  • Maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full lines of products or combination of products.

  • Participates with other key account managers and sales management in the development of sales strategies for major accounts. Helps identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy.

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Five (5) years of experience in sales.

  • Proficiency in sales and full knowledge of the product line and its applications.

  • Excellent negotiating, presentation and communication skills.


  • Bachelor's degree in transportation, business or marketing.

  • Experience in the transportation industry with deep knowledge of operations and logistics.

  • Corporate/National sales experience in transportation industry.


This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.

The Corporate Account Executive will be responsible for generating profitable revenue growth through marketing all products and services within a defined geographic territory. In this role, the Corporate Account Executive will: * Retain and grow revenue with existing customers * Identify and develop new business opportunities. Summary of Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by CEVA and actively participate in product training sessions. * Interact regularly with Station Manager and Ops Managers, and develop close and cooperative working relationship with operational staff to ensure the customer's needs are met * Schedule and conduct a pre-determined number of face-to-face sales calls as directed by the Regional Sales Manager or Station Manager * Input sales call information into CEVA-I, or other designated sales call software provided by the company and/or provide sales reports as directed by Regional Sales Manager or Station Manager * Maintain a pre-determined number of target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing * Meet sales threshold/quota as defined by company * Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment * Perform responsibilities in accordance with the terms of the Sales Performance Policy, Commission Model, and Acknowledgement Form Education, Experience, and Certifications: * High School Degree or GED required with a Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of work experience and education * Minimum five (5) years' related in sales * Minimum three (3) years' industry experience Additional Skills and Experience that Contribute to Success: * Proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth and retaining existing customers * Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds * Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and recommend solutions to common problems * Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Certifications and Licenses * Valid state issued driver's license * Acceptable driving record * Proof of current automobile insurance Hebron Day Job 46325 CEVA operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
