JOB SUMMARY:

As the Core Services Manager, you will oversee Restoration Core Claims Project Managers whose primary responsibilities are selling, estimating and managing general construction and restoration projects with contracts generally under $50,000. The Core Services Manager will also oversee the Mitigation department as this division works closely with Core Claims.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On a regular basis, ride along with Core Claims Project Managers to visit new assignments/jobs, guiding the PM through client interactions and supporting an environment to maintain a close rate greater than 80% by securing jobs and executing contracts.

  • Supervise the assessment of damages, the creation of estimates on a database and the submission of these estimates and communications to the insurance company/property management company/owner for approval.

  • Supervise the coordination of repairs of the property by overseeing the effective and timely transition from the Mitigation Department to the Project Manager.

  • Review budgets, costs, estimates and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure profitability, financial growth and compliance within company/industry standards

  • Manage reports, deadlines, progress and quality across the Mitigation and Core Claims departments simultaneously to effect efficiency and timely execution producing positive customer/TPA/Carrier experiences.

  • Customer/TPA/Carrier/Employee issue resolution.

  • Support the departments in identifying and maintaining properly licensed and vetted subcontractors.

  • Support the departments in identifying, securing and maintaining successful business and community partners for sales growth goals.

  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Approximately 10-12 direct reports and 8-10 indirect reports.

QUALITIFACATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Construction/Restoration Industry experience preferred.

  • Proficient math skills (equivalent to those needed at the college level).

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills using English language.

  • Ability to handle multiple complex problems simultaneously.

  • Sales and negotiations acumen.

  • Great attitude, trustworthy, dependable, and a pleasant personality.

  • Able to pass a background check, driving record check, and regular employee drug screenings.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of the organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of industry related software including the Symbility, Xactware and CoreLogic Claims software suites, be able to "touch type" and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

REASONING ABILITY:

This person should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position will be based in an office environment with visits to residential construction work sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety equipment is furnished.
