About Protection & Prevention

Denver Human Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as an Administrator I and lead the Core Service Navigator team within the Clinical and Support Services section of the Child Welfare Services Division. In this role, you will manage provider interface with contract services and navigation services, including data-base interface and management. Additionally, you will be responsible for the monitoring of provider relationships, requirements, complaints and outcomes and work closely with city attorneys regarding compliance, clinical requests and negotiations.
Generally, the Core Services Administrator:
Performs a variety of activities/projects, participates in the development of long range and short-term planning initiatives, and serves as a liaison with other departments, community groups, and other units.
Acts as a technical expert of service provision in Child Welfare.
Prepares comprehensive reports of trends and recommends feasible solutions in areas that require attention or change and implements approved recommendations.
Implements procedures for evaluating effectiveness of service delivery to our children and families, ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and assists in establishing processes.
Assists in evaluating proposals and identifying service gaps for our families.
Acts as the Department representative in Denver Collaborative Management weekly meetings.
Works closely with Judicial officers, Respondent Parent Attorneys and Guardian at Litem.
Participates in Best Practice Court Initiatives.
Collaborates with Medicaid and HCPF on the coordination of services for families.

Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of technical or administrative experience performing research and evaluation OR three years of experience performing technical and administrative duties within the related functional area. (Some positions may require experience in a specific area.)
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
