Remanufacturing Core Parts Business Manager

Position Purpose:

The position of Remanufacturing Core Parts Business Manager shall hold Profit and Loss responsibility for the remanufacturing core business. This includes creating and managing an efficient and robust operating system that will ensure profitability, discipline, and accuracy of the remanufacturing core business. To achieve success, this candidate will work closely with the manufacturing plant/s to maximize efficiencies, improve quality, and increase the utilization of cores and core parts.

• Inventory management, forecasting, and scheduling of core and core parts with high accuracy.
• Develop a core business strategy that will improve the overall business performance, lower total costs, mitigate risks, and provide a great customer experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles related to the core.
• Prepare and publish weekly spending, utilization, and quality analysis reports.
• Manage core sourcing activities, work with purchasing to proactively broaden the core supply base, implement core sourcing plans and tactics, and maximize plant performance.
• Define key inventory targets and drive processes to meet targets.
• Lead customer reviews and own customer communications regarding core and core credit eligibility.
• Leads core management education both internally and with customers.
• Leads cross-functional core management teams developing core policy and processes.
• Ability to travel, up to ~10-25%, in the US and to international locations.
• Oversees production of core product to ensure that they meet company standards for quality.
• Tracks and monitors core recover and determines the best method of recovering product based on cost and other considerations such as product quality or delivery timeframes.

Experience Profile:

• Previous program leadership experience.
• Previous P&L responsibility.
• 5+ years in management of core, remanufacturing business, or similar management experience.
• SAP materials management and production planning experience.

• Understanding of legal, financial, and commercial terms.
• Expertise in MS Suite and SAP.
