Job Description:

The main function of the web developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.

Summary:

The main function of the developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.

The software engineer will be part of the Meta Pay team with primary focus to improve the quality of the product and address gaps and issues reported by internal and external users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces.

  • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

  • Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications.

  • Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support.

  • Identify, escalate and document production impact issues.

  • Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities.

Skills:

  • Experience with REACT & JS, and Web development.

  • Experience with Mobile development (Android &/or iOS)

  • Experience with Hack

  • Preferred

  • Familiar with Meta engineering systems.
  • Preferred
  • Experience in the payment echo system.
  • Comfortable with fast paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field require

Learn more about AIR's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy and hear from our staff by clicking here.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>The responsibilities for the position include:</p><ul><li><p>Convert datasets among SAS, STATA, mainframe databases and other formats</p></li><li><p>Extract, recode, merge, and de-duplicate datasets</p></li><li><p>Perform outlier analyses, handle missing data, and create analysis variables</p></li><li><p>Perform statistical analyses</p></li><li><p>Create customized reports of data analysis results</p></li><li><p>Create quality computer generated data listings, summary tables and data collection studies</p></li><li><p>Provide technical oversight and training to junior SAS Programmers</p></li><li><p>Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs</p></li><li><p>Write and maintain documentation of changes to computer code, programs, and specifications</p></li><li><p>Write technical reports and proposals</p></li><li><p>Performing other related duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>Education, Knowledge, and Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, or Date Science</p></li><li><p>3 years' experience working directly with Medicaid administrative claims data</p></li><li><p>Highly experienced in writing programming code to produce logic checks, derived datasets, summary tables, and figures for data collected via project work</p></li><li><p>5 years hands-on SAS experience</p></li><li><p>Experience with CMS Medicaid and Medicare research identifiable files (RIF) data and working in the CMS virtual research data center (VRDC) environment preferred but not required</p></li><li><p>Proposal preparation and management experience helpful but not required</p></li><li><p>SAS certification preferred but not required</p></li><li><p>Experience applying SAS in a health research environment preferred but not required</p></li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Skilled in all aspects of data processing management</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills</p></li><li><p>Able to learn quickly and work in a team, collaborative environment</p></li></ul><p>Disclosures:</p><p>AIR requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a legally required exemption from AIR, as a condition of employment.
