Business Segment Overview

Commercial: With boots on the ground authenticity at the heart of everything we do, our comprehensive array of commercial products and services enable you to work directly with our clients, across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance and more.

Position Purpose

As the Copywriter for our LATAM region, you will work closely with the marketing and creative teams for the same regions to bring our retail brand to life across all customer touchpoints. You will play a key role with the rest of the creative team in developing engaging, high-quality digital campaigns that help to maximize revenues, increase retention and strengthen our brand in the marketplace.

  • Creating SEO-friendly long-form articles

  • Copywriting for both digital and offline marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, banner advertisements, site content, print and web-branded materials, and infographics.

  • Supporting CRM initiatives with persuasive copy that motivates recipients to act.

  • Providing customized messaging strategies and copy based on defined customer segments, shared knowledge of user behavior, and best practice standards.

  • Collaborating with creative team members, product managers, and business owners to determine concepts and copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives.

  • Collaborating with creative team leaders to facilitate the continued evolution of the brand voice and messaging across all media formats.

  • Manage related design and development requests; help to proofread/test content prior to deployment/distribution.

  • Manage client communication approval processes to ensure communication meets business and compliance/legal objectives.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Written Spanish and Portuguese required - preferably native speaker

  • At least five years of copywriting experience

  • At least two years experience writing in the financial industry

  • Global SEO experience is desirable.

Qualification and Skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Solid technical content and copy creation experience within digitally-led marketing organization in the financial, investment, trading, or spread-betting vertical.

  • Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent, and compelling messages for prospects, clients, and colleagues at all levels.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively

  • Ability to develop effective long-term working relationships both within the department & across departments and at all levels within the organization

  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Working Environment

  • Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
