Location: 100% Remote in the following states only: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MA, MN, MT, NV, OH, OK, PA, TX, UT, WA, WI

Salary: $21 - $29 Non-Exempt

Shift/Schedule: Monday

• Friday 8am

• 5pm MST.

2 Positions Available:

• One position will support our Automotive aftermarket brands in the Japanese Sport Compact and associated markets.

• One position will support our Automotive aftermarket brands accessories in the truck, Jeep and off-road markets.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Copywriter is responsible for writing accurate, grammatically correct, interesting, and SEO-tailored product descriptions, blog posts, buying guides, installation guides and other general web content to drive search results to the company's own brand websites. Excellent research skills are needed for this role, along with the ability to handle a high workload while delivering accurate content geared toward generating search results and sales conversions. This position reports up to the Marketing Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Producing well researched high-quality content for various brand and retail websites, YouTube channel, and other social media outlets via utilizing industry best practices to include a wide array of content supporting Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.

• Work with media teams to write custom content for product listings, blog posts, Installation guides, and other content to help customers make informed buying decisions

• Proofread and copy/edit materials before publication to ensure quality and consistency of content as well as align with the brand's voice

• Perform industry and product research

• Follow an editorial calendar and collaborate with other members of the marketing and product teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize online visibility.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field; or, combination of education and work experience

• 2 years as an SEO Copywriter or Product writer preferred.

• Instructional writing experience in related field also considered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously with differing objectives

• Ability to maintain strict adherence to the style guides of each brand and their policies for publication

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and technologies and Google page rankings

• Ability to understand business objectives and audience demographics to successfully land messaging

• Automotive industry experience a plus
