CenturyLink is seeking an experienced technology marketer who can create high quality content, differentiated marcom and integrated deliverables in support of products, solutions, campaigns, programs and communications to customers and sales.
The candidate should have previous experience developing and writing strategic and sales-driven marketing communications materials from a customer, technical, executive and channel perspective for a wide variety of purposes.
This position will plan and implement marketing communications projects for the company, including standard and next gen marcom materials, web site, banner ads, landing pages and e-mails within a prescribed brand.
Must have excellent interpersonal and writing skills and be able to handle significant autonomy and responsibility. Qualified candidates must have previous marketing experience within the technology industry and have the aptitude to learn and apply new technical concepts in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
Write and edit content for emails, lead generation programs, web sites, newsletters, and digital campaigns
Develop messaging and content for sales tools and demand generations programs as required to help drive pipeline and revenue
Develop positioning and write copy for marketing communications materials
Ability to understand and enforce brand standards, identity and consistency
Manage multiple projects in a detailed and timely manner
Degree in Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
4-5 years of relevant copywriting experience
Demonstrated ability to produce high caliber marketing materials
Outstanding messaging, writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to manage delivery of projects/programs in a cross functional, geographically dispersed environment in a timely and effective manner
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working on both strategy and tactics
Ability to learn and apply new technical concepts
Superior PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
Knowledge of basic branding concepts
Attention to detail
Experience working with outside agencies/vendors
