Responsible for Processing County outgoing mail; delivering mail to
County buildings; performing copying, duplicating and office supply
support to Weld County Government.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Schedule and expedite work orders in the shop using some independent judgment regarding customer priorities and deadlines to be met.
Prepare and maintain accurate records to assure proper billing on work orders; paper and supplies issued, received, and transferred; perform data entry for all these functions in computer.
Maintain accurate records of all postage used during the month and submit for billing.
Process mail. Must post, pre-sort and prioritize mail, and deliver it to the post office.
Clean machinery and do minor maintenance on machinery; contact appropriate representative for major machine repairs.
Issue supplies to customers and utilize established inventory control procedures.
Communicate current and anticipated problems to supervisor.
Perform related work as required.
High school diploma or GED.
Required work experience:
One year of experience in inventory control procedures, posting mail, and use of office machines, including copiers and customer service.
Skill to perform manual labor requiring full range of body movements (bending, stooping, reaching, etc.) needed daily to perform the tasks of the position.
Ability to make mathematical computations for billing and inventory purposes. Ability to perform data entry and to organize work according to customer priorities. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
Possess a valid Colorado Driver's License and Liability Insurance. Must be willing to travel throughout Weld County.
