The Copy Supervisor plays a critical role as a senior member of the creative team, serving as the go-to expert on the voice of their brand (or brands). Beyond that, the Copy Supervisor's primary responsibilities are to develop breakthrough creative ideas with their art partner, craft powerful copy that delivers on the brand strategy, ensure all copy on their brands meets the highest standards in terms of both creativity and accuracy, and mentor younger creatives as they learn the craft of copywriting.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Act as steward of the brand voice internally, with clients, and in MLR meetings
Write compelling creative copy for a variety of communication forms (eg, website, email, print pieces, social media) to reach a variety of audiences (eg, healthcare professionals, patients)
Review all copy related to their brand(s) and provide thoughtful, clear direction to the writers
Thoroughly understand their assigned brand(s)-indication, therapeutic implications, competition, references, etc.
Contribute strategically to the long-term vision of the brand, internally and with client
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance as a key member of the senior creative team
Partner with other capabilities, including Strategy, Medical, Editorial, and Account Services
Exemplify the values of imre Health and contribute to the overall culture of the agency
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience in copywriting (pharma experience required)
Ability to write for DTC and HCP audiences
Oncology or high-science experience, strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and version control
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to champion work with strong creative strategy rationale
Experience with MLR reviews and representing creative/copy choices
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience overseeing copywriters and helping them develop their craft
Ability to learn scientific information about assigned therapeutic category
Salary Range: $100k-$130k
