We are seeking a Marketing Copy Manager to enhance the brands of Tailored Brands. This is an exciting opportunity to innovate and integrate marketing campaigns across multiple channels, while maintaining consistency and evolving our brands voice. Responsibilities include writing, editing and leading a team of writers to produce actionable and benefit oriented copy. This position reports directly to the Creative Director.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conceptualize and write engaging content for creative initiatives, campaigns, and projects

  • Manage a team of copywriter to align in-store and online marketing messaging.

  • Contribute to the development of the content strategy for all channels.

  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments

  • Oversee the maintains of Tailored Brands content guidelines and style guides

  • Develop and deliver copy requests, including marketing campaigns, emails, banner ads, website assets, look books, gift guides, video scripts, and more across multiple merchandise categories and services including social media

Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications

  • Have stellar communication skills and excellent written English including good spelling and grammar

  • Have a love and feel for language

  • Offer a meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail

  • Have the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask many projects simultaneously

  • Be proactive, fun and hardworking with a positive outlook

  • Be able to embrace collaboration, change, and creativity

  • Excellent team and project management skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in marketing, ecommerce environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience copywriting for brand initiatives

  • Experience developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing environment

  • Experience working for or with creative agencies

  • Provide at least five examples of your work

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete and conceptual variables

  • Ability to interpret and apply a wide variety of instructions and creative direction whether written, oral or visual format

  • Ability to work on site at least 40 hours per week from the Company's Fremont, CA Executive office #TBindeed

This position manages the business relationship with identified accounts that have complex specific adjacency in Copy and Print related needs. In addition, this position assists in the deployment of new products, services, and solutions throughout both BSD and NAR Divisions through established partnerships with other sales associates. Qualifications * Engaged in sales activities outside of the office, face-to-face, including, but not limited to, creating relationships with non-Office Depot customers and develop a clear, complete understanding of their potential business issues and needs for more than 50% of work time. Sales activities also include selling to existing Office Depot customers a further and deeper range of products and services from office Depot. Note: Administrative maintenance and invoicing issues, even when accomplished at the customer's site, do not count towards the over 50% of work time that is required to be spent in sales activities outside of the office. The primary focus of this position is sales, not administrative maintenance of the customer. Travel is required. * Ensure effective execution of tactical and operational Copy and Print segment of the sales plans for all products and services relevant to geographical scope. * The Development Manager will stay in tune with the changing demands of the marketplace and provide management with recommendations for training, new products, assortment and service enhancements in Copy and Print segment. ;Works under the direction of sales management to launch all new products, services, and solutions to both NAR and BSD Field personnel within a defined geographical territory. * Identifies key targets from region listing & develops selling & penetration plans using a consultative selling approach to offer Copy and Print solutions. * Partners with BSD sales associates to achieve a defined contract sales quota based on account/territory potential. Schedules joint face to face calls to customers in attempt to meet and sell Copy and Print programs and solutions. * Applies Copy and Print adjacency expertise to design and implement customer programs. Sells to multiple levels of decision-makers within larger, high potential accounts by developing partnerships with customers. * Schedules face-to-face contact with current or prospective buyers on a daily basis. Sells value and innovative Copy and Print solutions beyond the core product to meet buyer needs. * Directs account sales strategies as they relate to specific Copy and Print adjacency offerings. Designs optimal product/service mix to match essential buying criteria. * Partner with Field Support Leaders, RVPs, and BSD Directors & VPs to ensure that Copy and Print adjacency selling programs achieve their revenue and IMU targets.
