Job Description:
Responsible for leading, coordinating, and facilitating coaching, mentoring, family engagement and partnerships, and professional development as aligned with Title III. Develops and sustains positive community partnerships among various district and community clientele.

Evaluation of one or more Family and Cultural Liaison

Responsibilities:
Coordinate (in collaboration with the LCE team) activities identified in Title III
Assist with identifying and planning for needs/resources, particularly through the lens of professional development and family engagement and partnership
Implement coaching and mentoring conversations in a variety of educational settings. Coach and mentor classroom/ content teachers, ELD teachers, and Family and Cultural Liaisons
Coordinate implementation of Family and Cultural Liaison training and learning
Model best practices for Multilingual Learners in a variety of settings
Develop and coordinate the Title III professional learning plan based on needs of individual and collective team members
Identify team needs and building supports related to specific area of expertise
Collaborate with district teams to ensure equity of access for students and families
Collaborate with district teams to identify system needs to meet the unique needs of all learners
Facilitate and coordinate professional learning
Evaluate staff (e.g. Family and Cultural Liaisons)
Partner with community organizations focused on family engagement and partnership
Certifications:
Colorado Department of Education Professional License with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Endorsement or other appropriate CDE/TESOL license required
