What will I be doing?
If you have hospitality spirit and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you get to organize, develop, deploy and track projects then this is the opportunity for you! As a Coordinator on our Openings and Renovations team, you will have a direct impact on ensuring the success of new hotel openings and property transitions across the globe for our Suites and Focused Service brands (Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Tru, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites and any new brands in those categories). As our Coordinator, your days will vary from crafting and editing presentations to project activation including metrics management, status and results reporting. You will also liaise between our brands and field team members and other functional areas across the organization. Since Hilton is always innovating, we will look to you to help develop and implement brand opening and ramp-up strategies to ensure our process is as efficient as possible.
More specifically, you will:
Schedule inter- and intra-department teleconference/in person meetings, including making arrangements for meeting venues, catering, timelines and design collateral for attendees to review report updates.
Participate in branded and cross-branded projects (e.g. New Opening Online Brand Engagement Dashboard, Virtual Instructor Led Training testing, Webinar creation and deployment).
Design and develop presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote and other tools.
Use technology resources to drive departmental success and efficiencies. Examples include maintenance of the Brand Engagement Dashboard master checklist, team member website support and reporting on project metrics, measurement and maintenance for database information.
Aid in developing and executing an effective communication strategy to engage all necessary business functions.
Organize the team performance messaging and updates to all relevant teams and partners.
Perform all other duties as described by the supervisor, which may include support of the Embassy Suite brand.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
High School Diploma/GED
Three (3) years in a customer support, administrator or coordinator role in a dynamic environment
One (1) year of Project management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Travel up to 25%
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Innovation delivery experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including the following: building macros, v-lookup tables and data manipulation
Experience with Cognos and MicroStrategy
Experience working on global projects
