The Coordinator of Strategic Account Management is a pivotal role responsible for a wide range of supportive tasks to ensure that each Strategic Account Management team is aligned and delivers results. The Strategic Account Coordinator is responsible for tracking and communicating daily, weekly, and monthly activities for a cross-functional team responsible for hospital accounts. This role reports to the Strategic Account Manager.

  • Coordinate account activity and workflow, including but not limited to the creating presentation materials, facilitating meetings, liaising with internal and external teams, compiling meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-up items and tactics are tracked and completed on a timely basis

  • Conduct research and reporting as needed, including market and network research

  • Ensure effective communications amongst cross-functional teams (including scheduling meetings and follow-ups, and managing weekly and/or monthly reports)

  • Work closely with numerous departmental partners, including operations, clinical quality, financial analysis, ancillary, population health, sales, and marketing

Minimum Requirements:

  • One to three years minimum of experience

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Desire to learn more about the healthcare industry in general and dynamic New York market specifically

  • Ability to coordinate numerous team members

  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and document process changes

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degrees in healthcare, public health, business, economics, or another related field

VIEW JOBS 3/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-11T00:00 The Vice President of Strategic Account Management will serve as the point of contact and interface between Healthfirst and designated hospital systems, including sponsor hospitals with the objective of providing exceptional engagement experience. The primary goal of this is to leverage improved alignment with our hospital partners to drive membership growth, improve the quality of member health outcomes and access to care while, optimally, managing financial performance. The Vice President of Strategic Account Management is responsible for the engagement of a minimum of 6-8 partner hospitals on initiatives that include risk sharing, member attribution, and quality. The Vice President of Strategic Account Management is responsible for developing and delivering an Annual Strategic Action Plan in conjunction with partner hospitals to identify objectives, strategies, and tactics to achieve joint goals – and then ensuring efficient implementation and business monitoring. This role will support enterprise growth and requires executive presence, an enterprise mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed, and high-performing teams. * Serve as Strategic Development Lead with each hospital sponsor and key network partners * Primary Point of Contact for hospitals (and key network accounts) and all internal Healthfirst departments, including senior executives internally and externally to address operational issues and challenges * Coordinate all aspects of account, including developing an Annual Strategic Action Plan with each hospital and network partner, communications, quality outcomes, membership growth, and financial performance * Develop Annual Strategic Action Plan with each assigned hospital partner (identify growth opportunities, support strategic objectives and business planning of each sponsor hospital, manage performance, and streamline communications to maximize value and deliver strong financial results) * Identify and lead system capability requirements for additional tools and resources to expand and improve account management, and potential investment requirements * Report out on status and progress of each strategic and key account at Quarterly Business Review, and provide Business Performance Review on monthly basis as needed by larger or designated accounts * Represent interests of partner hospital in relevant internal discussions – risk sharing, member attribution, quality, etc. * Articulate risk model results & drive risk model performance improvement by hospital and with robust understanding of New York healthcare market * Develop business leaders through core enterprise management skills Minimum Requirements: * Ten or more years of experience in the healthcare industry focused on hospital engagement role * Ability to coalesce various internal stakeholders departments and functions * Exceptional influencing and problem solving skills to align key internal and external leaders to a new operating model * Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity * Experience creating dashboards, reporting metrics, synthesizing and delivering key information through organizations * Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present ideas and build consensus with stakeholders * Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to executive audiences * Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance * Ability to drive effective change * Experience managing large cross-functional and matrixed teams Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's and Master's degrees in healthcare administration, public health, business, economics, or another related field * Experience with Change Management approaches WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
