Job Description
The Barrett Honors College Internship & Community Outreach Coordinator, Sr. plays an essential role in providing high-achieving students with direction, resources, and opportunities to enhance their academic and career goals. The Coordinator Sr. is a strong communicator and self-starter with the ability to sustain and move work forward with minimal direction. This position reports to the Director of Academic Partnerships and Online Programs, and collaborates with faculty, staff, students and community partners to identify, promote and coordinate internship and other professional development opportunities that enrich the honors experience at ASU.
The Coordinator Sr. guides and connects Barrett students on all ASU campuses and online towards professional development resources and opportunities. In this position, they will: collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; plan, present and deliver information sessions and workshops; oversee enrollment in academic credit for internships in accordance with university and college procedures; monitor and track internships; promote opportunities through website, social media, and newsletter content; serve as a liaison to ASU Career Services.

Working Environment
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse (75%); required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (10%). Infrequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (5%). Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions; Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.

Minimum Qualifications
