Position Overview:
We are in search of an ambitious and proactive coordinator and screening specialist that will provide support to the Special Operations department with scheduling, planning, and logistics for the field operations balanced with working in the field.
Coordinator schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (in Garden City Office)
Screening Specialist schedule: weekdays - hours will vary
The successful candidate will be
Ideal candidates will have a positive outlook and a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail. Members of our special operations team are highly motivated, detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities: (Coordinator)
Maintain constant communication between clients, business development team, and field officers
Ensure field staff are scheduled appropriately and briefed according to standards
Attend meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders in preparation for upcoming contracts and assignments
Follow post operational protocol with relation to client communication, properly documenting hours worked for payroll and billing purposes
Responsibilities: (Screening Specialist)
Using specialized security screening equipment in a mobilized operation, screening specialists will:
Set up screening equipment at designated location as specified by client request within TSA guidelines
Verify passenger identification
Screen the passenger's person and property for threat items prior to allowing access to the secure area
Maintain positive control of the screened passengers until they board or are transported to their private charter flight
Private Charter Screenings are a mobilized operation and can occur in a variety of locations. Screening Specialist teams will be outfitted with a company vehicle capable of transporting the team and the screening equipment safely and securely to the designated location. Same day and overnight travel may be required depending on the assignment and the distance to the location.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Exceptional oral and written communications skills
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have a valid State Security License
Federal regulations specify U.S. Citizenship, naturalized or birthright as an eligibility requirement to participate in mandatory position specific training.
Must be willing and able to participate, with negative results in pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat
Excellent web research skills
Supervisory experience is preferred but not required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
Willing to work additional hours in the event of an emergency
Willing to work in the field as needed
