Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator must be able to administer sales, and have excellent customer care. Provide support to the Sales and Marketing Departments. The Sales Coordinator will provide support to Account Managers through internet based project searches, organization, assignments, and follow up.This positionwill be responsible for timely and accurate data input into Cemex sales tools and spreadsheets. The Sales Coordinator will also support Account Managers with daily responsibilities including but not limited to the following: YS reports, quotations when needed, SAP input, forecast input, submittal requests, and bridge communication between sales and other departments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to do pricing for billable and payable freight to deliver cement

  • Issue adjustments necessary, which result from invoicing

  • Update mass increases for pricing and freight into system

  • Ability to deal with customers and haulers

  • Ability to input information for forecasting budget into system

  • Input daily sales and statistics

  • Adhere to all CEMEX and O.S.H.A. rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds

  • Meet or exceed company safety standards

  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent education or experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working Conditions

  • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors

  • Must wear protective equipment while at the location

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently

  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment

  • Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
