JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for identifying and evaluating training needs for a variety of staff and determining the approach necessary to address the training need. The scope of training topics includes patient access, revenue cycle, billing systems, scheduling systems/processes and interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training and Development or related field with 3 ' 5 years related experience required.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have demonstrated ability to educate others or conduct presentations.

Experience in medical billing or patient access preferred.

VIEW JOBS 9/23/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-22T00:00 Penn State Health Shared Services Location: US:PA:Reading Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the scheduling of routine and complex radiology appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, PET/CT, Interventional Radiology, and Biopsy appointments for the Department of Radiology. Coordinate all steps from beginning to end for patients needing appointments by working directly with patient, physician, admission staff, technicians, clinic staff and OPAS team. Work with Inpatient Access to arrange bed reservations, as needed. Arrange and coordinate anesthesia, preadmissions, and follow up clinical care and reschedule any part of the process, if necessary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required. 1 year of job related experience required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Good written and oral communications skills required. Excellent time management and organizational skills required. Ability to coordinate processes through myriad of tests, paperwork, preparations for each patient's care is required.
