The Coordinator, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensures training is performed and recorded as required and serves as a backup resource to the Regulatory Team.

  • Acts as site administrator for the QMS
  • Ensures documents in the QMS are up to date and reviewed at regular intervals
  • Collaborates with Orchid sites to establish QMS best practices and continuous improvement
  • Processes and reviews document creation/change requests
  • Assists document owners with writing, editing and training of new and revised procedures
  • Assists with setting up, tracking and recording training events
  • Verifies employee training is current and complete
  • Provides QMS training to employees
  • Assists with CAPAs and audit findings related to the QMS
  • Assist the Regulatory team as needed
  • Comply with all Quality Management System (QMS) Documentation and ensure it is complete and accurate
  • Performs other work as assigned
  • Proficient with databases and web based applications
  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or FDA 21 CFR 820 Subpart D preferred
  • Prior experience creating or modifying controlled documents
  • Work experience in a previous quality-related position
  • Preferred experience with SQL programming and report generation in database and web based environments
  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 Subpart D
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to teach others
  • Must work well with others - collaborative
  • High School diploma required
  • Associate’s degree preferred

Learn more at Job Role: Quality Assurance Testing Analyst Skills Required: * Minimum four 5 years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC). * Must have solid experience in writing SQL statements for data validations * Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/Scripts/plans/strategy documents * 3 Years of experience in healthcare. with ANSI 5010 X12 Transaction Sets knowledge is a must * Proficiency with writing Java-based test scripts * Experience using automated testing tools, especially Selenium * Experience working with Java-based RESTful APIs * Knowledgeable in reading app diagrams and user flowcharts * Collaborate effectively with all cross-functional teams and raise questions/clarifications on any vague requirements or functionality * Provide support during UAT phase and Live deployment - executing smoke tests and validating/reproducing reported issues * 5 years of deep (really deep) .NET development (C#) development experience including cross platform communication technologies such as Web API or WCF * 5 years of database design, T-SQL programming and performance tuning experience * Must have Azure and Amazon AWS would be an asset * Must have all of the database and SQL, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, * Must have deep knowledge on SSIS/SSRS/SSAS Education/Qualification and Certifications: * This position requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree In Information Technology and 5 years of work experience in related field OR Master's degree in computer related field * Minimum 5 years IT Quality Assurance experience in health care industry * Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization * Service-oriented self-starter who takes initiative Job Roles and Responsibilities * Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data * Lead coordination and execution of release testing as appropriate * Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts * Define Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria * Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures * Communicate effectively with customers and software vendors as appropriate * Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s) * Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard * Coordinate testing specific release activities * Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts * Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews * Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing * Update and test release installation procedures * Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate * Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure * Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result * Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies * Work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment * Analyze, document, and perform system configuration and setup as well as integration and system testing for both externally developed and in-house developed applications. * Troubleshoot issues identified during the delivery of new or existing systems and resolve them in a timely manner. * Write and maintain technical procedures and documentation for the application interfaces developed. * Work closely with business users and project managers to review requirements.
