Coordinator-Provider Credentialing - PN QI Crednetialing - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

Assists in the coordination and implementation of all credentialing activities (delegated and non-delegated). Accepts delegated responsibility in all aspects of the credentialing processes. Works closely with contracted health plans in all credentialing activities.

Education:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• Preferred

• Post High School Studies

• Business Administration, English, or Liberal Arts

• Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree Health Care Related Field or Business Administration

• Preferred

Experience:

• 2 years Provider Credentialing or

• 2 years Medical Office or

• 2 years Healthcare

• Acute Care Required

Skills:

• Knowledge of NCQA, State and Federal credentialing requirements.

• Must be self-motivated with good communication skills, good organizational skills, attentive to detail and knowledge of medical terminology.

• Business machines such as fax, 10 key punch.

• Basic typing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point).

• Demonstrates proficiency in the following: --> Credentialing software program.

Work Shift:

08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$31.89 - $43.05

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
