Position Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator position is an excellent opportunity for someone having experience in Procurement Operations and Administration, training, continuous improvement, and interest in a team environment. Position will be responsible for full cycle management of vendor setup and maintenance, as well as vendor onboarding into TPC's ERP system invoicing portal (Oracle iSupplier), with consideration and attention given to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls and regulatory compliance. Through performance of this role, the successful candidate should actively look for opportunities to improve, streamline, and document existing processes. This individual will work cross-functionally with various groups throughout the Company including Operations, Procurement, Field Requestors, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Accounting, as well as externally with our valued suppliers. Therefore, a strong customer service focus and problem-solving skills will be key to the success of this position. This individual will also be responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting on performance targets (KPIs) and metrics to measure the operating effectiveness and efficiency of the vendor Masterfile and Oracle iSupplier processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Masterfile: Full cycle ownership, management, and maintenance of the Vendor Masterfile in accordance with all SOX controls and regulatory compliance requirements, including:

  • Accurate and timely vendor setup, including 1099 and 1042-S designation and setup, in accordance with Company naming standards

  • Maintenance and updates of existing vendor records per supporting documentation

  • Documentation and streamlining of all vendor setup and maintenance processes

  • Cleanup and purge of all inactive vendors and the monitoring of existing vendor records to ensure they are not duplicative and are setup appropriately

  • Ownership and maintenance of change management documentation and processes for vendor and / or process changes

  • Development of performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the efficiency and effectiveness of all processes

  • Mitigation of fraud risks through proper due diligence and maintenance of the vendor Masterfile

  • Communication with field personnel on vendor setup status, hold ups and progress

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities continuous improvement and process streamlining to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, when applicable

  • Oracle iSupplier: Full cycle ownership, management, and maintenance of the Oracle iSupplier system including:

  • Identifying suppliers for enrollment based on established criteria

  • Enrolling, onboarding and training of new and existing suppliers, including classroom and web-based monthly training on portal use

  • Development and maintenance of all training materials and guides

  • Maintenance of training materials and usage documentation on TPC's web page

  • Supplier and internal interface for all questions and issues related to iSupplier

  • Responsible for all supplier communications and bulletins

  • Development and distribution of monthly reporting and KPIs with respect to the efficiency and effectiveness of the iSupplier portal

  • Responsible for change management processes and ensuring portal changes are communicated sufficiently both internally and externally

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities continuous improvement and process streamlining to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, when applicable

  • Additional Duties:

  • Assist with clean-up and maintenance of Purchase Orders (PO)

  • Provide backup support and coverage for PO creation when needed

  • Other duties as assigned, including Ad hoc project leadership supporting the growth of the company

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years' minimum experience with a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or another related field


  • 5 years' minimum experience in procurement / supply chain with vendor Masterfile maintenance responsibilities with a large ERP system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration, or another related field preferred

  • Chemical/Petrochemical industry experience preferred

  • Oracle experience preferred

  • iSupplier experience preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Customer focused attitude with strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external clients

  • Results-oriented and able to recognize opportunities and collaborate to ensure effective change management

  • Robust time management skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Business Management

This role is critical to GoExpedi's success in monitoring spending levels, inventory levels, and communication to the operations team. The main responsibility of the Procurement Coordinator II is to ensure that the Supply Chain needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
