Job Summary

The Parts Coordinator receives and distributes parts for the assigned area. The Parts Coordinator provides assistance to and coordinates the purchasing of parts. Works to maintain accurate and adequate stock levels in support of operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take inventory of existing parts

  • Receive and distribute incoming parts

  • Create Goods Receipt within SAP in accordance with the global Procurement Policies

  • Notify Procurement of inventory needs

  • General housekeeping of warehouse area

  • Drive and operate parts department vehicle, as required

  • Safely operate a forklift, as and where required (Training can be provided)

  • Process work orders as required

  • Order parts as required

  • Code purchasing card statements by entering work order numbers or changing the general ledger supplementary code to direct the charges

  • Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times

  • Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds

  • Meet or exceed company safety standards

  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to operate equipment in reverse using mirrors

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Able to operate a forklift (can be provided with training, if necessary)

  • High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to perform the work activities safely and productively

Working Conditions

  • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors

  • Must wear protective equipment while at the location

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-02-12T00:00 SCOPE: Perform duties to coordinate, monitor and provide assistance, a safe and secure environment to participants in the waiting area and in residence; assist navigators as needed; and contribute to the mission of Goodwill by providing a safe environment for formerly homeless individuals and families, guided by limits of established standards and accepted practice. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Monitor the guests while they are in the residence, and maintain vigilance for their safety and security. Serve as first responder and interventionist. Review incidents with guests, Housing Technicians, Case Managers, and other direct care staff with Senior Director. * Supervise Housing Technicians during shift. Ensure staff coverage during meals and breaks. * Communicate with Senior Director any concerns with staff or guests. * Maintain logs, and make accurate and specific documentation of events occurring during shift including incident reports and notices of infraction. * Utilize trauma informed care principles when managing guests and staff; * Create a warm, welcoming environment for guests; * Model appropriate interventions for staff including harm reduction, crisis intervention, and low barrier services; * Participate in case conferences as needed with Housing Advocate Case Managers and Senior Program Director. * Assist to orient guests, obtain intake information, and document in participant files. * Assist guest in use of residence facilities and equipment, including computer, laundry and other household equipment. * Check facilities for cleanliness and inform management of need for repairs. * Coordinate and assist facility staff as needed. Contact on-call support staff when needed. * Relieve and /or assist Housing Technicians when needed. * Interview, select, recommend, hire, train and supervise assigned staff. Assign and check work. Provide direction to staff and assist in the investigation and resolution of problems. Evaluate performance and provide counseling and coaching to employees. Initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, terminations, or disciplinary measures. Maintain harmonious employee/employer relations. Determine current and future staffing levels. * Perform any range of departmental assignments or special projects as requested. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Demonstrate by words and actions a commitment to the Goodwill mission to help people experiencing homelessness and other barriers to become self-sufficient, working members of the community. * Perform or assist with any duties or operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. * Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition. * Participate in any variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation, Social Services, Human Services or related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis in lieu of degree. * Minimum one (2) year in homeless services setting or experience working in a milieu setting. * Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to deal with a wide variety of people in a positive manner. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment as well as the ability to take direction. * Willingness to work nights and/or weekends. * Must have a valid Florida driver's license, valid insurance, reliable transportation for travel to outlying locations and the ability to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
