Title: Parts Coordinator - Inventory Control

Job summary:

Responsible for all aspects of the assigned material activities including delivery, accounting, stocking and ordering utilized in the Plant

Responsibilities:

  • The timely delivery of all assigned materials to Floor Personnel per the GSO they are working on.

  • An accurate accounting of all assigned "Stockable" Inventories in the plant.

  • Coordinate with the Parts Lead all material transaction activities for assigned material within the plant.

  • Work in close coordination with the Parts Lead as it relates to assigned materials against the plant production schedule and inventory function of those materials.

  • Work in close coordination with the other Parts Coordinators, Plant Supervision, Parts Runners and Purchasing as it relates to the timely delivery of all assigned parts to plant.

  • Maintain an organized and orderly Parts Inventory Storage Area for all assigned materials in the plant.

  • Work with the plant personnel and Parts Coordinator to generate, maintain and coordinate all activities associated with Shortage Sheets for assigned materials related to each GSO Truck on the floor.

  • Perform activities as it relates to the proper and accurate recording of all electronic transactions for assigned Materials Inventory.

  • Conduct scheduled cycle counts for assigned materials in the finish plant.

  • Work with Plant Personnel to ensure material determined to be defective is removed from the floor and sent to the Red Tag Area with the proper documentation and corrective action per the MDR form.

  • Always follow safe work practices and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

A high school diploma as a minimum and applicable work experience is mandatory. Good communication skills and a positive attitude are required. A good understanding or familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is essential.

Reports directly to the Parts Lead. Takes daily direction from the Parts Lead and work closely with IC Superviser, Purchasing and other plant specific Inventory Control Personnel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, squat, reach, carry and use hands.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Our fast-paced, physical roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You'll load conveyer belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. Duties & Responsibilities Some of your duties may include: * Receive and prepare inventory for delivery * Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders * View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks * Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages * Receive truck deliveries You'll also need to be able to: * Lift up to 49 pounds * Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts * Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around * Go up and down stairs (where applicable) * Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable) What it's like inside an Amazon Delivery Station * Safety.
