Perform administrative functions.

  • Manages implementation of all systems, procedures and policies related to the area.

  • Participates in the planning and execution of agency and department goals.

  • Attends assigned meetings and trainings.

  • Serves on department and agency committees/task forces as assigned.

Supervise day-to-day activities within the residential locations.

  • Ensures all residential locations meet high housekeeping, safety, health and sanitation standards, and that a "home-like" environment is maintained.

  • Maintains inventory of building and office supplies, home supplies and persons served medications.

  • Maintains inventory of possessions of people served.

  • Monitors condition of vehicles used at the residential location to ensure proper operating condition, cleanliness, mileage documentation and documentation of any vehicle accidents.

  • Monitors completion of all necessary documentation, and follows up on any identified issues (i.e., monthly documents, timesheets, household orders, office supply orders, attendance log, production records, financial audits, etc.).

  • Accounts for finances of people served.

  • Monitors medication and medical needs of people served, ensuring medical ordrs are followed according to medical staff.

  • Ensures safety/security of people served, staff, buildings and vehicles is maintained.

  • Monitors completion of assessments; attends ISPs, consultations and special meetings.

  • Ensures training strategies and supports/services goals are documented and implemented.

  • Ensures primary DSPs contact families on a monthly basis and/or as determined by the team.

  • Ensures recreation/leisure activities are offered with staff assistance, as needed.

  • Ensures people supported are provided skill training in independent living, as well as safety procedures.

  • Facilitates quarterly tenant meets to address issues and concerns identified by people served and/or staff. Generates meeting minutes.

  • Rotates the weekend on-call responsibility with the other CSSs.

Supervise and coach direct reports.

  • Assists in interviewing/hiring for open and new positions.

  • Orients and trains staff.

  • Ensures compliance with all agency policies and procedures.

  • Monitors staff completion of mandatory online training and assessments.

  • Monitors and evaluates performance. Conducts performance reviews.

  • Schedules and facilitates staff and supervisory meetings.

  • Addresses staff concerns and recommends disciplinary actions.

  • Monitors and staffs work schedules. Approves schedule exceptions.

  • Ensures quality and service standards are met.

  • Promotes Mission and Core Values.

Required Experience


High School/GED degree. Bachelor's degree in human services field preferred. Four or more years experience in related field, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge

Utilizes analytical skills and experiences to investigate or escalate support issues. Resolves incidents and services requests. Assists in the creation and maintenance of training documentation. Incorporates appropriate presentation techniques to support and/or lead training sessions. Researches, analyzes and makes recommendations for application workflow improvements. Creates and analyzes reports created using multiple reporting mechanisms. The Applications Support Analyst gathers, analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, tests, implements, evaluates, and maintains information technologies to support business needs. Promotes and participates in a team approach. Works with other departments and outside vendors. Must be comfortable managing change with excellent problem solving skills. Requires time management and prioritization of tasks on a daily basis. Proficient verbal and written communication required. Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are expected. DEPARTMENT DETAILS The Applications Support Analyst within Professional practice acts as a subject matter expert and is responsible for managing the credentialing system data to ensure accuracy and integrity of the database. This role also configures, tests, documents, implements, oversees data input and output, troubleshoots and resolves issues and provides end-user support and training. Responsibilities include importing and exporting of data, extracting and analyzing data, developing and implementing policies to guide data entry and making sure that the database effectively captures the required providers and clinic information. QUALIFICATIONS If applicable, IT certification must be obtained within six months of date of hire and within three attempts of certification testing. Bachelor's Degree required. Area of focus in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred. One year of relevant experience in application support, hardware or interface preferred.
