JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Coordinator of Staff Development

Qualifications:

Valid Instructional certificate or certificate of eligibility.

Minimum of five (5) years experience in the area of public school education, with related experiences in teaching.

Administration and communication skills.

Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Reports to:

Director of Staff Development and Innovative Programs

Performance Responsibilities:

Assist with the training of the Teacher Instructional Coaches and teachers.

Coordinate teachers attending workshops.

Assist in the development of Staff Development programs responsible for making federal grant applications and amendments to support the department's mission.

Provide assistance in the monitoring of ESSER/ARP expenditures and program requirements for all Instructional Divisions.

Assist with district staff development initiatives.

Assist with school-based staff development initiatives.

Participate in the process of development of orientation materials for new teachers.

Analyze and interpret pre- and post-test data in conjunction with appropriate principals and supervisors.

Coordinate with District Mentor Program.

Maintain copies of all necessary records and forms related to the staff development programs.

Assist principals, appropriate supervisors and teachers in the procurement, distribution and use of all instructional materials, supplies, equipment, and software pertaining to Staff Development.

Maintain an inventory of all instructional materials, supplies, equipment, and software pertaining to Staff Development.

Work with the Director of Staff Development and Innovative Programs, in the development and improvement of district curricula related to Staff Development.

Prepare reports as requested by the Director of Staff Development and Innovative Programs.

Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Staff Development and Innovative Programs.

Terms of Employment:

Twelve (11) months; tenurable

Evaluated by the Director of Staff Development and Innovative Programs.
