Salary range of $43,888 - $46,888 annual

SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Sport Programs and Cain Sports Complex is responsible for elevating, delivering, and managing an innovative, comprehensive Sport Programs (Intramural Sports and Club Sports) as well as overseeing the Cain Sports Complex. This position maintains responsibilities related to program implementation, personnel management, budget management, and risk management. This position reports to the Associate Director.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, and oversee the day to day operation of Sport Programs (Intramural Sports and Club Sports) in accordance with established industry and safety standards.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cain Sports Complex that includes three activity fields, four tennis courts, four sand volleyball courts, three support buildings, and RecRe equipment check out locker
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, manage payroll, and mentor all Sport Programs staff
Advise, mentor, and train all club sport officers and leaders, including, but not limited to, member recruitment, opponent and field scheduling, club promotion, budget management, equipment management, risk management, and travel.
Develop, implement, and communicate policies, rules, and procedures to ensure safe, welcoming, and educational sport programs
Develop and monitor the Intramural, Cub Sports, and Cain Sports Complex budgets
Manage the inventory, maintenance, and purchasing of all equipment for responsible areas
Promote and market the Sport Programs and Cain Sports Complex
Utilize various technology platforms to manage staff, participants, and programs
Instruct American Red Cross CPR/AED/FA courses. (must obtain within the first 6 months of employment and maintain)
Assist in collecting and analyzing participant and staff satisfaction/needs to measure program effectiveness, and implement new initiatives and long/short-term goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills: One year of combined, related experience in sports program management in a collegiate, community, or private setting (part-time work, graduate assistantships, and internships are acceptable and counted as half-time experience).
Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum experience requirements
Example: Master's degree
Ability to: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Licensing/Professional Certifications: First Aid and CPR certified or must obtain within 60 days.
