Job Summary

The Coordinator of Secondary Teaching and Learning supports the District's Priority Areas of Engaging and Relevant Teaching and Learning and Equity, Access, and Success at the Secondary Level. Through an Equity Lens, provide direct support to school sites in designing, planning, organizing and coordinating the implementation of the district's Grade 6 thru Grade 12 and Adult Education curricular programs; coordinate professional learning activities related to curricula and assessment; provide support to site administrators and Grade 6 thru Grade 12 and Adult Education teachers in areas of responsibilities; and to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Masters Degree Valid and current teaching credential Valid and current Administrative Credential Minimum of 3 years teaching experience Minimum of 3 years of program administrative experience, or site level administrative experience at secondary level
