Reporting to the Executive Director, The NASCAR Foundation Coordinator will oversee operational, business and administrative systems management for the Foundation. Directly supervises Foundation interns and volunteers. Directly supports the Executive Director with all administrative and operational needs. Handles special projects for the Executive Director and the Foundation. Responsible for all aspects of organization for the Foundation board meetings and committee meetings, including establishing dates, locations, and ensuring materials are completed and distributed timely. Directly supports the fundraising efforts of the Foundation by assisting with the direct mail program and special events efforts. Ensures accurate database of supporters for direct mail solicitations and events invitations. Performs other duties associated with fundraising efforts as needed. Attends departmental meetings, trainings, and conferences, as approved.
Travel up to 10% to include weekends
Duties include but are not limited to:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or technical school, and minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training in business, management, operations or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Database or CRM experience
Proficiency within a Windows OS and Microsoft Office environment
Experience working with a non-profit organization
Demonstrate commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes and a results-oriented culture
Must be well organized and systematic in work processes
Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with and lead groups, including ability to conduct effective meetings
Strong written and verbal communications
Strong interpersonal, supervision, administration and management skills
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures in fundraising, principles and techniques of budget preparation and report development and utilization
