Job Summary:

Marketing Operations provides media management, post production operations and services, and creative technology support for Disney Entertainment Television Marketing. We work closely with The Walt Disney Company's creative content organizations and marketing teams to provide operational support across multiple business units producing and delivering top quality promotional content globally. The operations team works at the highest level of performance using cutting edge software and hardware tools to provide professional level in-house post production services to internal marketing partners in a deadline driven, high volume environment. This includes an agile, efficient, and technically advanced finishing process, that customizes marketing workflows to launch thousands of successful marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. Team members work together to identify and solve artistic and technical issues before distribution while creating sound and picture that are unsurpassed in quality and audience engagement. When you turn on your television, smart device or however you consume content, you will interact with media to which this team has contributed.

We are currently seeking a Coordinator, Media Management. In this role, you will shepherd marketing assets from the initial request to delivery. You must be able to prioritize deadlines, have excellent verbal and written communication, ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment, and maintain high stakeholder customer service. In this role, you will coordinate information and promotional media that touches teams within content & editorial, advertising & media, digital and social, promo scheduling, advertising sales, the finishing team, and creative technical operations. You will need an understanding of media terminology, including working with frame rates, metadata, aspect ratios, basic knowledge of editing software, and general comprehension of promo production, post production, and content marketing campaigns. As part of our team, you will support the Disney Entertainment Television Marketing team to promote ABC, Freeform, Disney Branded Television, FX, and Hulu, displaying the depth and breadth of Disney's entertainment value.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule voice-over recording sessions, ensure scripts are provided, post and archive audio files, and supply finance with session details.

  • Research historical campaign requests and information, supply source materials and/or transcode clips and spots. Track tapes and files using asset management system

  • Provide back-up assistance when other team members are on vacation or out of the office for episodics, launch spots, and value-added materials; work order creation; S&P, Legal and Cross Channel clearance and department special projects.

  • Create purchase orders, ship drives and tapes to vendors, scan hard drives, upload and download assets, file transfers, and provide general office assistance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience in marketing, advertising, content promotion, post production or related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Web Applications a must. PC and Mac knowledge required. Knowledge of editing and graphic software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work closely with others and possess strong customer service skills.

  • Solid organizational, time management and prioritization skills are required. Must be extremely detail oriented, can multitask, effectively coordinate changing priorities, and handle tight deadlines.

  • Possess a passion for television in an ever-changing landscape of show promotion. A flexible mindset with a willingness to learn, modify, and improve legacy workflows.

  • Positive energy and team player.

  • Must be able to carry tapes and equipment, and be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

  • Please note that this role is expected to be 4 days a week in the Century City offices and 1 day remote. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by end of 2025.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $52,400 to $70,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
