Experience with college-level math instruction/teaching and/or curriculum development.
Ability to supervise, train, support, and evaluate student employees.
Ability to develop student understanding of math learning strategies and academic success content.
Experience supporting, and being a member of a large team (adjunct instructors, student leaders).
Establishes rapport; builds and maintains effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external audiences.

Job Summary
The Coordinator of Math Support Courses is a full-time, 11-month position that provides and promotes math and science learning strategies, resources, and interventions for students. Please note-this position requires occasional evening and weekend hours
This role coordinates and delivers courses, workshops, and individual and small group instruction supporting credit-bearing RIT math and science courses. This position is responsible for:
Managing, facilitating, and teaching Math Support courses
Providing group and individual consultations to enhance students' learning strategies in math and science courses
Administrative oversight and assessment of ASC Math Support programs
Responsibilities include supervision of adjuncts, and graduate and undergraduate student staff. This position is responsible for the supervision and assessment of key programmatic initiatives, and partners and collaborates with colleges, departments, faculty, and staff regarding students' academic success and perseverance. This position is part of the ASC Math and Science Support team and reports to the Assistant Director.
