Salary Range: $19.00 - $28.51 Hourly

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for training Inventory Control personnel on proper procedures and policies. Strategizes and implements logistical improvements.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Trains Inventory Control personnel on correct procedures and policies.

  • Evaluates inventory organization for the most efficient space utilization.

  • Accurately sorts, maintains, and stages products.

  • Adheres to and enforces strict safety standards.

  • Provides the highest level of customer service to the Manufacturing team to maximize company success.

  • Analyzes material flow and determines optimum control levels.

  • Ensures inventory is appropriately labeled and placed in accurate bin locations.

  • Ensures adherence to auditing policies concerning inventory.

  • Ensures maximum utilization of warehouse facilities.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Degree(s): High School diploma, or equivalent; Inventory Control experience preferred, but not required.

License(s): None

Certification(s): None

Essential Mental Functions:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.

  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.

  • Exhibits good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.

  • Works with minimal supervision.

  • Works effectively in a team environment.

  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

  • Overtime is required as business demands.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.

  • Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
