Description
Job Summary: Responsible for training Inventory Control personnel on proper procedures and policies. Strategizes and implements logistical improvements.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities:
Trains Inventory Control personnel on correct procedures and policies.
Evaluates inventory organization for the most efficient space utilization.
Accurately sorts, maintains, and stages products.
Adheres to and enforces strict safety standards.
Provides the highest level of customer service to the Manufacturing team to maximize company success.
Analyzes material flow and determines optimum control levels.
Ensures inventory is appropriately labeled and placed in accurate bin locations.
Ensures adherence to auditing policies concerning inventory.
Ensures maximum utilization of warehouse facilities.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Degree(s): High School diploma, or equivalent; Inventory Control experience preferred, but not required.
License(s): None
Certification(s): None
Essential Mental Functions:
Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
Exhibits good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
Works with minimal supervision.
Works effectively in a team environment.
Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Overtime is required as business demands.
Essential Physical Functions:
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
