Position Summary

Provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to the requisition of all indirect and direct items not related to MRP. Maintains files (electronic), and log of all request. Maintains information on computer systems. Must be proficient in Excel.

Basic Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of experience.

  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed.

  • Must have the ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team.

  • Must pay exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Proficient in Excel.

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Good communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtain Bills of Material (BOM) for Costing

  • Performs a variety of difficult to complex activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or planning for a specific project, business or a technical unit.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of projects, work methods and procedures.

  • Recommends changes to improve efficiency.

  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources.

  • Compiles, reviews and analyzes data.

  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.

  • Validates inputted data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.

  • May design processes to enhance work flow.

  • Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

  • This position typically spends 80% of their time supporting the function.

  • Thorough understanding of general job aspects and moderate understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.

As a key resource, this Director must utilize independent decision-making skills and display a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. The Director must demonstrate the ability to communicate in an effective manner with a variety of people, including clinic staff, physicians, volunteers, customers and community members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Support ongoing analysis, identification and implementation of cost savings opportunities � working with HTPN business leaders * Support/reinforce (act as �System SME�) on use of Supply Chain Systems/Data/ Ivalua * Support and drive efforts to use contracted items and plan for conversions * Manage Facility Supply Chain functions in integration of new clinics and relocation of physician practices * Run interference on problem escalation and resolution (supply disruption, procurement, logistics or other) * Support addition of new products/services to BSWH Catalog as required. Work with Sourcing as required * Identify/Drive/Support strategic cross-HTPN facility and cross-functional Supply Chain projects as required * Drive process standardization, inventory management/ optimization, best practice sharing and lean principles. Drive for improvement in KPIs * Assists in development, recommendations, and monitoring of departmental budgets as directed.
