DRS Land Systems is seeking a Full Time Coordinator II Program Management. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit
Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources
Compiles, reviews and analyzes data
Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
May design processes to enhance work flow
Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function
Moderate understanding of general job aspects and good understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Perform administrative activities in support of Program Management.
Provide a variety of administrative or support tasks for a program/project.
Assist in compiling technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
Assist in making appointments, travel arrangements and meeting arrangements.
May participate in special projects as needed.
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience
Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently
Must have knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
