Position Summary

DRS Land Systems is seeking a Full Time Coordinator II Program Management. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit

  • Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources

  • Compiles, reviews and analyzes data

  • Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations

  • May design processes to enhance work flow

  • Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures

  • This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function

  • Moderate understanding of general job aspects and good understanding of the detailed aspects of the job

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

  • Perform administrative activities in support of Program Management.

  • Provide a variety of administrative or support tasks for a program/project.

  • Assist in compiling technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.

  • Assist in making appointments, travel arrangements and meeting arrangements.

  • May participate in special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience

  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed

  • The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently

  • Must have knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

As a Program Manager you will be responsible for accomplishing various programs relating to substantive, mission-oriented goals of the Internal Revenue Service.
