Job Overview:

The Coordinator, Functional and Leadership Delivery coordinates and assists in implementing learning and leadership development initiatives and processes to provide an effective end-user experience. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is based in New York City.

Key Relationships:

  • Talent Center of Expertise (CoE) partners

  • Subject Matter Experts across Business Units and functions

  • College Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources Business Partner Teams

Essential Functions:

Support key Macy's learning & leadership initiatives & strategies by

  • Effectively communicating operational requirements, timing and logistics for enterprise wide orientation;

  • Assisting in scheduling & executing training programs and initiatives;

  • Administering enrollment, attendance tracking, travel and supplies/materials;

  • Maintaining and administering evaluation, tracking and reporting needs.

  • Maintain and coordinate learning calendars within the Learning & Leadership Delivery team.

  • Respond to Learning & Leadership Delivery team requests, as appropriate.

  • Support records retention standards for learning.

  • Coordinate and support budget needs for logistics and materials for Learning & Leadership Delivery Initiatives.

  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.

  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

  • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.

  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

  • May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.

  • Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

  • May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.

Other Skills:

  • Agility in flexing focus and work output to the needs of the business, showing a willingness to support team colleagues regardless of the task or responsibility.

  • Highly organized, able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving and complex environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365.

Work Hours:

  • Flexibility to work varied hours as business needs change or require.
