Title Coordinator- Facilities Operations Overview

POSITION GOALS
Demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Coordinate the contractual services vendors to provide a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all students, faculty, staff, and guests of Camden County College.
To be responsible for the supervision of landscaping, and for the maintenance of an orderly and neat appearance of campus grounds.
To manage and maintain an efficient warehouse and mail operation for Camden County College.
To manage the set-up and breakdown of furniture, equipment, and supplies for all campus events
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds,
Manage the cleaning of buildings and all custodial services; assuring a sanitary and safe environment.
Supervise and schedule window washing and power washing of buildings for all campuses.
Handle work orders for Camden, Cherry Hill, and RETC.
Order all custodial supplies such as paper products and trash bags.
Post mail in the absence of the day coordinator.
Coordinate evening mail posting and deliver mail to the post office.
Serve as the primary backup to the day Coordinator.
Coordinate campus trash pick-up and recycling activities.
Organize and maintain the upkeep of the Physical Plant's warehouse and mail operations.
Work closely with all supervisors to ensure an effective and efficient management team.
Develop specific goals and assignments to meet all required functions.
Supervise and inspect all custodial work and activity setups for night porters
Coordinate furniture and equipment moves.
Supervise the use of campus storage facilities.
Maintain a flexible schedule to be able to observe work on all campuses/shifts.
Utilize assigned contractual services vendor in a prompt, efficient and effective manner to clean and maintain assigned facilities according to the high standards desired by the College and to set up activities according to the schedule.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget for the custodial department and assist with managing, maintaining, and establishing controls for the efficient use of the allocated budget.
Assist with the development and preparation of specifications for the annual bid to the Director in a timely manner.
Assist with purchasing of supplies, equipment, furniture and services for the custodial department according to the N.J. Purchasing Laws, using bidding or quotation procedures. Prepare and submit written supply requests for purchases as needed for the custodial department; follow-up on purchases and submit invoices in a timely manner.
Practice and enforce proper safety methods at all times.
Complete, review, submit, and maintain the _records for all custodial work inspections
Work cooperatively with other College administrators, faculty and staff; make recommendations for improvement to attain the long-term goals of the College.
Work additional hours as directed.
Perform all other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.
Relevant technical experience including floor care is preferred.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires constant mobility throughout the campus. This position requires the physical dexterity necessary for efficient computer skills and the ability to work extended hours during harsh conditions.
