Job Description:

The Coordinator, Dual Enrollment works in collaboration with College administrators, local public-school districts, private schools, home education students, and students and families in planning and implementing the College's Dual Enrollment program. This position reviews and understands all local articulation agreements to manage and carry out a robust dual enrollment program for public school, private school, and home education students; collaborates with the Dean, Baccalaureate Studies and Academic Support and other College staff on the development and implementation of articulation agreements and policies, including adherence to legislative mandates, district school practices and processes, internal College policies (for example, transcript issues, grade appeals, application deadlines, curriculum requirements, and assessment policies), and home school legislation and practices; serves as the point of contact for students, parents, school personnel, and College staff on all topics related to dual enrollment; works with Marketing to prepare dual enrollment media pieces that effectively promote the dual enrollment program within the service district; and prepares and conducts presentations at local high schools and community events to promote and recruit for the dual enrollment program. Reports to the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree and two years of experience in a Student Services area OR graduation from an accredited institution with an associate degree and four years of experience in a Student Services area.

A valid driver's license is required. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience at the post-secondary level in admissions, advising, or a closely related area.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $42,800.00 - $47,800.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.)
